I keep using markers trying to get bright colours, but it never turns out the way I imagine. I’m thinking I’ll have to resist using markers unless it’s in the case of those delicate images that are thin lines against black backgrounds.
Found a delicate image in my colouring book probably best suited to using markers. It’s like a flowery lace. I regret the use of the dark purple when the background is solid black, though.
Some cupcakes I coloured. There are four on the page, but I like these two best.
I came across this page in my colouring book. It’s squiggles kind of hurt my eyes. I felt like it needed to be a ROYGBIV rainbow, alternating the pattern at each red and purple (violet) line. I regret the use of marker here–you can see each marker strike.
This is obviously my blog header. I call it the season tree; it’s meant to look like the progression of the seasons. Of course, trees in winter have no leaves, but this is what we call “creative licence”. It’s just a colouring book page…I lack the ability to draw recognizable objects.
