Well I have been getting behind on posting some of my projects on my blog. It doesn’t help when you have only a certain amount of time and WordPress is having problems. Several of my CHA projects can be seen at my 2 Peas gallery- the link is on my sidebar.
I have posted some pics of the new Maya Road Train Accordian Book. It is a super cute book and is great to showcase photos of all of those train lovers out there. James has LOVED trains since he was 18 months old, but since I did a book about that for CHA-W, this time I made this project about our trip to the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento.

I am very excited to say that one of my projects not related to CHA was picked up for publication and can be seen in the Aug/Sept issue of Paper Trends. They always do such an awesome job showcasing projects. Since I haven’t been published often (submitting is very time consuming, but I have submitted a lot more this year) this is just very cool! I was waiting to get the issue at Michael’s, but thought I would check while I was at B&N getting some books for James and there it was.
Apparently WordPress stores some of their images through one of Amazon’s services and that is down. Some of my pictures on this blog are unavailable to see because of it. I imagine this will soon be resolved and all of my pics will be available. As soon as that happens, I will make a new post with another project. Thanks.

This is such a fun accordion book. This is one of my DT creations for the Maya Road booth at CHA. My sweet SIL let me “borrow” her family for this project. There is a ton of MR on this project. Really this house has so many fun possibilities. I added chipboard butterflies and bugs, birds of a feather, trees, alphabets, , heart and home, scroll frames and more. Also, ribbons, flowers, ribbon slides, crochet flowers and butterflies and rub-ons- to name a few. The chipboard flower border on the front of the house is new also. MR is coming out with chipboard border sheets with lots of different borders on them.

Hi everyone- I get to post the rest of my CHA projects since the show will begin on Friday. If you haven’t already taken a look, visit the MR Company blog. Caroline has been posting sneak peeks of new products for the last week. She also posted my above project today to showcase some of the DT creations.
Above, I decorated one of their new coaster books. I love this little book. The shape is so cute. I think coaster books are some of my favorite products because I don’t have to worry about how fat my project gets with embellishments. Can you also see something else new on the cover? The green chipboard circle border. Maya Road is coming out with sheets of chipboard borders! They are very versatile. I used pictures from one of my family’s trips to the SC Beach Boardwalk. We often go every summer. Lots of Maya Road on this one- sheers, chipboard alpha, ribbon, ribbon slides, trinkets flowers, chipboard blossoms and felt birds. The paper is Sassafras Lass and the small alpha stickers are Making Memories.
Thanks for stopping by- I will be posting peeks of all my projects throughout the week.
One of my new CHA-S projects is posted on the Maya Road Design Team Blog today. Here it is! I loved making this album because it reminds me of our wonderful trips to Seaside, OR. We have so much fun there. I love the contrast of orange and teal too. It’s loaded with Maya Road goodies.
Also, Caroline of Maya Road is posting new item sneak peeks on the company blog this week. Take a look and post a comment for a chance to win one of 7 Maya Road prize packages.
